Applied Research Engineer

As an applied research engineer at Ragas, you’ll tackle complex challenges in machine learning by skillfully leveraging open research to devise innovative solutions.
Some of the work will include
- Developing optimization algorithms to align LLM-based evaluators with human assessments.
- Creating algorithms that synthesize test data samples for evaluating LLM applications, such as RAG and tool-use workflows.
- Fine-tuning and aligning LLMs to function as custom evaluators.
You may be a good fit if
- You have a keen interest in reading research, identifying patterns, and striking a balance between critical evaluation and openness to novel solutions.
- You have worked extensively with LLMs, synthetic data generation and optimisation.
- You enjoy and have contributed in open-source and Kaggle.
